SLO Triathlon

The City of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department was looking for a fresh new look for their annual triathlon event with regards to the participant’s t-shirt design.

I chose to create a unique hand-drawn illustration that was reminiscent of ancient greek pottery to help denote the spirit of competition. Using a very rough and crude style helped give this particular year’s visual a more unique look than the usual slick, very athletic and (tiresome) design conventions from previous years.
